| I started taking photography classes in high school and was fascinated with every aspect of the craft. The process of framing up a piece of the world and then capturing that place and time was magical. After 20 years of photography I still feel that way. After high school I studied photography and design at Chabot, Cal Poly SLO and SF State. These programs represented a great mix of fine art, social documentary and advertising photography. My photo heroes are W. Eugene Smith, Sebastiao Salgado, Richard Avedon and Henri Cartier-Bresson. I admire how they used photography to tell humanitarian stories and communicate their distinct vision of the world. I also direct videos and commercials. I have a great team ready to work on various size motion and still projects. I live in the small California coastal town of Montara with my wife Nanishka and dog Hank. We're located 30 minutes south of San Francisco. |
